Life is like Chess – Imagining Realistic Results vs Achieving Unrealized Possibilities

—

Imagine two paths, you could be on either, but not both, and Path A is realistic, the results will be realistic, the challenges will be straightforward, your mistakes will be your own volition, the tricks could have all been avoided on Path A, and likewise the results can be predicted, a draw more often than not, is a very good performance.
Path B however contains unrealized possibilities, path B is riddled with traps, and tricks, and sometimes it depends who crosses the bridge first, as the solution only becomes revealed if a mistake has unlocked the challenging tactical combination. Path B has unpredictable results at the end, it could be a mountain top, or perhaps a parachute to an entirely different endgame in another arena, or worse, lost in the caverns of shadow and doubt on the dark side of a steep ravine..but alas..in life or chess..the results are along the path of your choosing.
