Sloppy but within this sequence holds the essence of the Borg and the false ideas that might cause hesitation from both sides during the intensity of live action— in hindsight it’s easy to choose the simple correct choice, but in the moment, we seek those critical blows, the critical, punishing, counter attack…almost always leads to sly drawish save on the edge of a precise checkmate!

A rare missed win. Easy in hindsight, invisible on the clock. Borg still gave us the story: 1…g5, fight for the dark squares, and don’t celebrate until the last blunder is theirs. Play it back. Find the miss. Don’t miss it twice.
