Yup, you read that right, ‘tis the season for Coach Chad to channel every strategic tactic from every playbook to counter every opponent to win every game every week by just scoring as many points as possible in Fantasy Football!
But I’m upping the ante..so to top it off, I’m running the NFL Pigskin Pick ‘em Gauntlet— I wanted to do something difficult, with fair stakes that I can uphold, so here’s the challenge
– Share your weekly NFL Pigskin Pick ‘em score with The Chess Zone Group and Pick ‘em more accurately than Coach Chad’s Picks to win a free chess lesson!
Week One is already in the books, but this is a perpetual challenge all season — I finished week one at an even clip, 50% correct, 8 correct – 8 incorrect— so that’s where the bar sets.
Some Tips from Coach Chad
Tip 1: Fix your Fantasy Roster before Setting Picks – waiver wire is hot on Tuesday and Wednesday, I was lucky to scoop Isaiah Likely in one league, win or lose or draw, he’s nice to have on the team!
Tip 2: Always pick the Bills to win and the Chiefs and the Steelers and the Patriots to lose, the rest don’t matter! ( 😝)
Tip 2 (for real this time): Expect injuries, pay close attention to the young players in your league left unrostered, secure some deep threat prospects, you never know when your second round draft pick might succumb to the injured reserve, so prepare in advance!
Tip 3: Fantasy Football is just like Chess, it always feel nice to win, but all you can do is make the best move available, it’s up to you to be clever, take risks, and reap rewards, but definitely don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s for the fun of it!

– playing 3 leagues is a grind went 2-1 this week and feel great about it!
– I swiped an epic comeback during Monday Night Football as BigBadChad s/o to my Kicker: Jake Moody, (not to mention Jayden Reed on my bench….)
My other win was locked down by none other than Josh Allen of THEEE Buffalo Bills, and topped off by Bijan Robinson #hookem, and Da Bears on D-fence — S O L I D
Okay this last one isn’t a highlight, just bad luck..right!? ((—I Lost Bad, Save Me Please Mr. McCaffrey!!))
