..if the assignment were to list the top 10 of all the sneakiest wins from Coach Chad’s ‘tksatx’ archives over on Lichess, this +400 ELO upset victory over a 2100 rated blitz player might be well-deserved to-be listed amongst the top of such a list, but alas..anyone would be at their own accord to make any such list..yet i digress..we have a fantastic game to study right here..stored away shortly after the post-mortem period, and somehow destined to emerge again after a mere 2 year delay from it’s inception on May 2nd 2022..and well..the tactics are still as stunning as they must’ve seemed in the moments of the blitz battle.
Take a look at the following tags to find other similar tactics buried in the CFD archives. Upon another review of this game, the Sacrifice tactic in relation to Pin-Exploit and Mating Net are exemplary in this high level blitz battle — and although the stakes were merely ELO, I know my opponent gave their best efforts – GG to AinseilGato.
The opening sequence is common, feel free to name it in the comments! I reckon that it would certainly be worthwhile of deeper review. Now, without further Ado, please search for the following ideas in the game GIF below, I wish you the best of luck!!
